MONITORING KILAUEA ON THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII

BAM 1022 IN PUNA COURTESY OF STATE OF HAWAII  The State of Hawaii Department of Health, monitoring Kilauea Volcano in Puna, has deployed the BAM 1022 monitors, E-BAMS and E-Samplers.  Working with the USEPA, the State keeps the locals aware of air quality resulting from the eruption and lava flows. Protection of the citizens in the area is the primary goal since the eruption began.
