Clear the Air

The Centre for Air Pollution Studies (CAPS) at CSTEP is hosting its first flagship event—the India Clean Air Summit 2019 (#ICAS19)—at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru. The two-day event, on 22-23 August, is being organised in collaboration with the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board and the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka. ICAS aims to collate and share knowledge from various sectors and explore opportunities for collaboration by bringing together national and regional experts in the domain. The conference will address issues such as inadequate evidence for policy interventions, methods for data analysis, air pollution impact on human health, and challenges to policy solutions in India.
