                         ES 405 CONFIGURED WITH THE AIO WEATHER STATION AND CCS MODEM The ES-405 is a near reference air quality sensor designed to provide accurate real time measurements of PM10, PM4, PM2.5, and PM1 particulate concentrations simultaneously. This unit reports four key particulate concentrations in both indoor and outdoor environments. The rugged weatherproof enclosure allows it to be used in the toughest environments for reliable continuous outdoor operation. The inlet heater reduces moisture-related measurement error. The sensor incorporates sheath air to prevent particles from contaminating the internal optics of the sensor. The unit can be wall mounted or installed on a vertical mast. All ES-405 Particulate Profilers are manufactured at an ISO-9001 facility. Calibrations are performed to NIST traceable standards. Data output can be configured as fast as each minute or with longer averaging intervals....

USEPA designated monitors must use the 460130 or the 460180 filter tape purchased from Met One Instruments, Inc.  Using filter tapes from other manufacturers, such as Minipore, results in the loss of USEPA or any other designations. Also, because the quality of other tapes has not been tested and will result in loss of warranty on your monitors, it is recommended to use only the designated and quality controlled filters for best performance.

Clear the Air The Centre for Air Pollution Studies (CAPS) at CSTEP is hosting its first flagship event—the India Clean Air Summit 2019 (#ICAS19)—at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru. The two-day event, on 22-23 August, is being organised in collaboration with the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board and the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka. ICAS aims to collate and share knowledge from various sectors and explore opportunities for collaboration by bringing together national and regional experts in the domain.
