Met One Instruments, Inc. and American
Ecotech have supplied the air quality monitoring station and the meteorological sensors and tower to Arizona
Clean Fuels – Yuma, ACFY.
The installation of this equipment
is a critical step for ACFY in obtaining their Class-1, Title-5, PSD Air Permit
from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
The air quality monitoring
station includes two BAM-1020’s; one
configured to measure PM10, the other configured to measure PM2.5.
The meteorological tower is 100
feet tall and uses our 010C
and 020C wind sensors, a triple-matched set of 062
differential temperature sensors and the 076B
fan aspirated radiation shield. A second
class pyranometer and our 370
rain gauge are also being used on the ACFY site.
Here are a few pictures of the Met
One Instruments equipment installed at the site and a short video
of the erection process of the 100-ft meteorological
tower.
